Frequently Asked Questions
What is occupational medicine and why does my company need it?
Occupational medicine keeps employees healthy and workplaces compliant with OSHA and DOT rules. Services include pre-hire exams, injury care, drug testing and surveillance programs. This helps reduce lost-time costs and record-keeping headaches for employers.
What is the cost of a pre-employment physical in Norman or Moore?
Standard pre-placement exams start at $75. Add-ons like audiograms, respirator fit tests, spirometry, lift test and titers are itemized so you pay only for required services. Volume agreements receive bundled discounts.
Do you handle work-related injuries?
Yes. We can handle on-site X-rays, splinting, wound care, laceration repair and more from 6 AM to 10PM daily. Workers’ compensation paperwork is initiated immediately.
Does Classen offer DOT/CDL physicals?
Yes. FMCSA-certified examiners perform same-day DOT exams, vision/hearing checks and urinalysis, with digital MEC submission to employers the same day.
Can Classen bill the employer directly?
Absolutely. Employer accounts include monthly invoicing, secure result delivery and customized panel pricing.
What is a return-to-work evaluation and do you provide it?
Yes, we provide RTW evaluations. An RTW evaluation confirms an employee can safely resume duties post-injury. Providers review records, perform a focused exam and issue a fitness-for-duty letter matching the job description.
